9/23/2010 The Moon is VOC* 1:52 am to 4:47 am ET in Pisces until it enters Aries.
This is a perfect time for releasing all attachment to perfection and embracing the rightness of “good enough”. If you’re an early morning riser, meditate on that as you open to the Full Moon. If you’re asleep during the “void”, write down an intention/goal to put under your pillow. This can also be a drawing or image that is meaningful to you, like a tarot card that evokes the intention.
On the tails of the equinox, the Harvest Moon shines at 5:17 am ET. It is at 0° Aries which heats up the Cardinal Catalyst. Think of a huge motorcycle gunning in a subterranean structure… a lot of power in a contained space. It needs to go somewhere, and the ideal is not to create an implosion.
Dialog is key. Incremental shifts can create a profound change in time.“A woman rises out of water, a seal rises and embraces her” is the Sabian symbol for this Full Moon. Reflecting on this image inspires hopeful resolution. If we think in terms of nurturing and building relationship with the waters, animals and plants that sustain us, we can imagine a healthier planet than our present environment. Saturn in Libra is all about responsibility in relationship; and that includes our relationship with the Earth.
This may be a loaded day emotionally, especially if you have planetary emphasis in a cardinal sign: Aries, Libra, Cancer or Capricorn. If you feel like you’re about to give birth and there’s an “unknown” and “uncontrollable” quality to it, hold on tightly because it will be quite the ride!
The good news is projects begun through Friday have a tremendous capacity to reap success. That’s why it’s so important you prioritize and choose your companions wisely.
*Moon VOC/Void-of-Course: Avoid signing contracts, investing in a big purchase or beginning new projects or important conversations. Perfect time for clearing away clutter, finishing up loose ends, meditating or following serendipity. The “mood” of the period will be colored by the sign it is in… in Pisces, creativity may be high, if one is already in the midst of a project. Inspiration is more fluid than electric. This is also an excellent time to meditate and do conscious prayerwork or volunteer activities.
