The month begins with 5 retrograde planets, to highlight the need for introspection and measured decision-making. Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto all have different meanings, but the retrogrades share some common factors: delays, reflection and the ability to really dig deep into that area of the psyche.
Jupiter does go direct on May 9— more about that on the daily post.
MERCURY RETROGRADE – Mercury is retrograde through May 22 in the sign of Taurus. This time, be especially mindful and careful with conversations about love and money.
MARS RETROGRADE Mars is retrograde throughout May in the sign of Sagittarius—it returns to Scorpio on May 27, depending on where you are in the world. More about Mars Retrograde
Jupiter is in Virgo through early September 2016. Jupiter is the planet of good fortune and expansion. It finishes its retrograde cycle on May 9. When in direct motion, it is a far more auspicious time to start new ventures and investments. To read about this cycle, go to Jupiter
Saturn in Sagittarius: Saturn symbolizes discipline, responsibility, limits and fears in legal matters, higher education, travel and publishing. Saturn is retrograde through May 2016. If you want to know more or how this may affect you, go to Saturn
