With a Mercury/Pluto picture at the same time, the odds of communication snarls and lost messages increase. This is the Full Moon that succeeds the Aries New Moon, so the best use of this time is to spread your arms wide for effective relating to support your goals. Emotions may be high on April 15, so be aware of the gift of your breath and use it to balance any upsets. The big news is the Cardinal Cross, a.k.a “Cardinal Alignment” that arguably occurs April 21-24, depending on where you are on the planet. I say “arguably”, not only because that’s inherent in the energy of this configuration, but because any time the slow-moving planets are involved, the actual time of the observable situations may happen some days before. This is especially possible because of the April 15 eclipse which generates a lot of heat before the alignment is exact.
Here’s the essence: The movement of Uranus can signal disruption, revolution, unexpected occurrences and inspiration. It has been in a geometric position that puts it in a stressful relationship with Pluto (beginning in 2012 and continues through 2015). Pluto was the god of the Underworld and symbolizes irrevocable transformation. When these heavenly bodies are in an exact mathematical dance, we expect yet another topple of the status quo. The Cross occurs because of faster moving planets now in the mix. Jupiter has a face-off with Pluto, which brings the potential for angelic intelligence or clear lines drawn in the sand. The real mover and shaker in all of this is Mars (symbolizing “action!”), yet because its retrograde (moving backwards from Earth’s perspective), the action may well be internal or behind the scenes. We may not know how this all pans out before the April 29 eclipse, or most likely, when Mars goes direct after May 19. Mars retrograde continues through May 19. Mars was the Roman god of war. In astrology, the energy of Mars is more dimensional than simply an impulse to attack and create strife. Mars signifies passion, anger and desire. It indicates how one asserts him/herself. When Mars is retrograde from Earth’s perspective, reflection carries more weight than action, as maddening as that can be. When you do act if it carries the weight of that deeper process, its impact increases.
People with Aries or Scorpio prevalent in their horoscope or born with a strongly placed Mars (like Mars rising), tend to become more measured with the expression of anger when Mars is retrograde. Others may feel a great deal of frustration or pent up desires; martial arts are highly recommended.
From a business perspective, when Mars is retrograde, people are less likely to feel a motivation to act, but they may be open to study or research. Yet keep in mind that for people born with retrograde Mars, this period can be quite dynamic.

If you drive a lot, baby your car and well-worn destinations glean more fruit than new horizons. If you’ve been procrastinating on a creative project, this can be an ideal time to battle through the inner demons that have kept you stalled.
Saturn is retrograde through July 20. When the planet that signifies responsibility, discipline, boundaries and limitation goes retrograde, we need to reassess these themes. If you take on more than you are able to handle, expect a backslide. It is advisable to only agree to tasks you know you can accomplish because overextension cheats the whole picture. It is better instead to reign in your goals to achievable. The next several months support the ability to put strategies in place that maintain for the long run. Depending on your business, this may or may not be a time to initiate. Shortcuts are not recommended. Saturn in Scorpio demands a laser-like delving into finances, especially those shared with others.
Pluto retrograde begins on April 14, right before Tax Day. More underground activity will be plumbed, explored and eventually exposed. If someone or something pulls strings on your fate, the next several months may bring the problem to closer revelation.

Moon VOC (void of course) Defined
We still experience long VOC (void-of-course) days. This is when the moon no longer makes any geometric aspect to another planet until she leaves that sign.
Since the moon has to do with emotions/moods, when she’s VOC, people don’t have an emotional attachment to the outcome of a project or purchase. That’s why it is not recommended to sign a contract, buy anything of value, schedule an important meeting or start a new project during the VOC.
HOWEVER, if the VOC moon touches a significant point in your PERSONAL horoscope, this could be a game changer. This is a karmic moment, which means you could be in a position to make a decision or start something that has a destined purpose.
