The moon is void of course/voc* until midday. You might want to read yesterday’s post about the long Pisces Moon void as you plan your day.

Once the Moon enters Aries at 3:29 PM ET, you may notice an energetic change within and in activity around you. The signs of Pisces and Aries are disparate; one sign represents flexible flow and the other, immediate urgency.

Depending on your natal horoscope, this may be a visceral shift for you every 28 days or so. All day the Pisces Moon has been void, like a flower petal floating wherever the river takes it.

As a result, the moon’s passage into Aries may affect more people than usual. The Aries Moon moves in with an agenda; it is soon to be a Full Moon and a Lunar Eclipse to boot.

By late afternoon, any area of focus receives a slow burn of concentration. Pay attention to the intensity, because the fire can become too hot, too fast without care. Be wary of any tendency to force or rush; the best results come from interactive cooperation, no matter the labor required.

Tonight’s Full Moon awakens the need for the individual to be celebrated in relationship. Romantic unions do best with a balance of power and appreciation of what each brings to the relationship. Friendships have longevity when they stem from that same root. Work relationships thrive when partners bring different strengths to a project and complement the process.

This Full Moon shines light on your need to fulfill your individual purpose within a partnership. Because it’s also an Eclipse, the urgency of recognition amplifies. This may be a time to declare a truth within a relationship, to stand your ground or be seen in another context. Conversely, if all feels well with you, don’t be surprised if it’s your partner who needs to be seen.

This is admittedly not the easiest eclipse energy; there are several configurations that declare challenging dynamics. Yet the overall outcome for those who are willing to fight for it, is Love.

Let me explain. Love is not always a passive emotion, nor arguably is it simply an emotion. This eclipse triggers the domain of Venus: love, money and your values. Both in fire signs, Venus in Leo engages Uranus in Aries and still retraces her steps from the summer’s retrograde.

Uranus symbolizes freedom, individual expression. Coupled with Venus, the two planets suggest a great thrust for passionate exchange. Yet Mars (symbolizing desire and action) is in the earth sign of Virgo to temper the fire and encourage tangible results. For example, a dramatic film without proper editing loses its tension and threads.

The Sabian Symbol for the Aries Moon at 6-7° is: “A triangle with wings”. This picture echoes the geometric one in the sky, a triangle between Saturn (symbolizing structure) and Jupiter (symbolizing knowledge) and Neptune (the spiritual realm).

When there is a tug between Saturn and Jupiter, you may feel a fear to stretch or that it’s time to take responsibility for big talk. With Neptune in the mix, it may be hard to find the means to make the tangible happen.

Yet the Sabian Symbol reminds us of the angelic realm; the impossible does not become possible unless we allow our faith to transcend what seems to be the limits of our reality.

With Mercury, the planet that symbolizes communication, in a strong connection with this Full Moon, there is a mandate to relate effectively. If Love is the guide, two strong individuals can find common ground. Two powerful countries can make peace. Two adversaries can come to resolution.

You don’t have to love everyone, but if you love yourself, you won’t want to make choices that bring you bad feelings. It all starts with self-love, which is not egocentric love or narcissism. Acknowledge that when you are at peace and in loving energy, your world is brighter. This brightens everyone you meet.
*Moon VOC/Void-of-Course… in Pisces, creativity may be high, if one is already in the midst of a project. Inspiration is more fluid than electric. Any business meeting is a true waste of time, unless it is solely for creative play. Focus is nonexistent, so people feel unwell when asked to do pay attention. Instead, meditate, reflect and do conscious prayer-work or volunteer activities.
