The Virgo moon is void-of-course/voc* ALL DAY.

As advised in yesterday’s post, finish something up or follow a clear system of organization. Tackle a closet, garage or desk that needs clearing.

You can be remarkably decisive with boxes for “keep”, “sell/donate”, “toss” if clutter needs to be eradicated.

One face of Virgo is Vesta, goddess of the Hearth. Her function was to maintain the fire, the engine of fuel for the home and community. This shows service and an understanding of what needs to burn in order to create the fire of movement, inspiration and vitality.

When we hold on to something past its usefulness, we carry a weight that limits our mobility. Often people hang on to something because they might need it someday or it holds a memory.

Today you can discern if an object is truly of use to you. When you decide to keep it for “someday”, if you cannot label and store it somewhere you can easily find it, it is time to recycle it for someone else’s use.

There is no value in realizing that you have the perfect vase for a floral arrangement if you’ve no idea where you packed it, nor that you might have a widget for a project. If you must spend a day in search for the object, then you have lost time.

If the thought of spending time clearing out an area is too daunting, there’s another option for productivity. An excellent choice is to give yourself a terrific healing out-of-doors or in a therapeutic session.

*in Virgo, the void-of-course is great for organizing, finessing a project or exercise routine and clearing out closets. What is something seemingly insignificant that you’d like to make time to do? This may be the perfect time for it. More about the Moon VOC
