Some relationships may erupt. Perhaps the need to be the winner disintegrates. Arguments may seem to come from nowhere. Whether or not you ride the wave of the disruption depends on how much you value the relationship and your place in it.
Another way things may go today is mixed signals and declarations of independence. It doesn’t have to be hostile, but both individuals involved need to be heard.
