Morning begins with a void-of-course/voc* Capricorn Moon.

Jupiter squares Saturn one last time before it sails past it for years. The tension of this square has been a backdrop theme since last summer. Jupiter and Saturn are two faces of the father archetype, active in your psyche.

Jupiter is the “authority” that opens the door and shows you the big world— you are free to go, explore and expand your mind— take risks and experiment.

Saturn is the “authority” that values discipline, responsibility and imposes limitations and fears. There are positive and negative aspects to both of these, yet when they are in this geometric configuration, we feel the tug of each and are often stuck in the middle.

This shows us restraint and hones our exuberance. After today, you may sense more opportunity is available but you also may have greater clarity in what you want.

How acutely you experience this depends on how this transit affects your personal horoscope. Regardless, on the world stage, we start to see more freedom of movement, especially in the financial arena.

The Moon enters Aquarius at 10:27 AM ET, when you may recognize the shift as people get more chatty or texts and communications start to populate your mailbox. Invitations may fly and encourages productivity with solid networking.

If you can’t act immediately on ideas, then file them for later. As a reminder, with retrograde Mars it is definitely best to avoid starting anything that is an act of aggression, initiative or passion.

Nonetheless lots of great inspiration and connections percolate at this time.

*Moon VOC/Void-of-Course… in Capricorn, organizing and filing is like a well-oiled clock. Goals are on the mind, but when the list is too long, achievement is slight. Make a list and put it away to prioritize another day. You might also like to garden or finish up any loose end from work. More about the Moon VOC
