9/14 The moon is void-of-course (VOC)* from 1:14 a.m. ET through 5:31 a.m. ET. This is a very rich day to mine your inner thoughts; whether or not you have a writing practice, it’s a good idea to jot down whatever you’d like to make happen over the next few weeks.
If there’s something that’s been hanging around on your “to do” list that you can knock off today, do that. It will empower you, even if it’s as simple as organizing your sock drawer.
The Moon enters Virgo in the early morning, casting the mood for an orderly life. When we honor the larger cycles around us and work within them, our lives are in sync with the biological frame instead of working against it.
At this time of the dark of the moon before the New Moon in Virgo, you have an opportunity to dip within your inner well of being. Breathe in and breathe out. Find some time to sit and focus. This is a ritual moment of honoring your Self and Soul.
Virgo is the sign that is related to Mercury the messenger god, especially because of dexterity. True Virgo energy is perpetually youthful, continually curious. The ability to straddle and balance in difficult situations is a strong Virgo trait. We all have a piece of this within us, regardless of how aligned with it we may feel.
If it is important to you to modify diet, exercise, health or routine at this time, put it on your New Moon list. If there is a detail that is eluding you and yet is essential for completing a project, put it on your list. If there is an obligation that hangs over you and prevents you from actualizing something you’d like to make happen, perhaps it is time to cross it off your list or figure out a way to move past it.
Virgo cannot take on more than it knows it can handle. Therefore if something is pulling you down this is the time to face how you will release it.
*Moon VOC/Void-of-Course… in Leo, you do well to play: window-shop, go to a museum or performance, flirt, make some artwork.
