On JUNE 4, 2016 the Gemini New Moon occurs at 10:59 PM ET. It’s degree is 14° Gemini 53”.
The planet Venus, symbolizes love and abundance; she is in direct alignment with this New Moon. A traditional interpretation of Venus is close to the Sun is “combust”— which means that the intensity of the Sun can fry Venus’ ability to attract the material.
Yet combust planets dissolve the surface orientation of being; in other words, a combust Venus is not a “material girl”. The primary concern is to seek what is of true value on the spiritual plane.
This Venus in Gemini is in mutual reception with Mercury (the communication symbol) in Taurus. We call it “mutual reception” because Gemini is the sign linked to Mercury and Taurus is a sign aligned with Venus. So each planet is in the other’s sign.
