JANUARY PLANETS
MERCURY RETROGRADE – Mercury has been retrograde in Capricorn and makes a dip into Sagittarius on January 4 before it turn direct on January 8. In the sign of Capricorn, Mercury Retrograde symbolizes an inordinate need to go over the form with care. This may be especially significant in anything that requires leadership or professional ethos. It doesn’t matter how expert you are, if the message isn’t conveyed in the right way, it dilutes its impact and efficacy. With its travel back into Sagittarius, slow down and observe! Be alert to anything miscommunicated, especially in the business/financial and legal realm. Mercury Retrograde encourages use of intuition and to be very present with a task. Thinking about the past or future is sure to tie a tongue or cause a typo.

Jupiter in Libra runs through December 2017. Jupiter is the planet of good fortune and expansion. Now in direct motion, when it is teamed with a GOOD DAY, it is an auspicious time to start new ventures and investments. Saturn in Sagittarius: Saturn symbolizes discipline, responsibility, limits and fears in legal matters, higher education, travel and publishing. Saturn is now in retrograde motion. Neptune is in Pisces, where it will stay through 2026, as we dive into the spiritual evolution; yet some of us are swept with a sense of helplessness, victimization or total escapism. Our news becomes more fear-driven, especially about concerns for water, oil, healthcare or religious separation; these themes will be with us for quite some time. Yet confusion and fear do not have to be the constant. If you feel a bit emotionally short-changed, connect with nature, pure water and whatever your perception is of the numinous. Express your needs in a cogent fashion and you will get results. You needn’t feel awash with Neptune transits or its energy. With Neptune in Pisces, you have an opportunity to embrace your creativity and spirituality.
For some of us, this is what we’ve been waiting for; for others it demands a sturdy vessel to hold an unstoppable force. Alcohol and drugs may hit you harder than in the past, especially if you’ve a lot of water signs in your horoscope: Cancer, Scorpio or Pisces. If you don’t already meditate or have a religious or spiritual practice, you may feel the pull like a riptide urging you to explore this.

Although no longer in line with Neptune, Chiron is still in Pisces. For what it may mean with your sign https://insightoasis.com/chiron-astrology/

Moon Void-of-Course: Each sign is 30°; there are 12 signs in the 360° zodiacal wheel. Void-of-course (VOC) moon periods occur when the moon passes the degree of a sign when it no longer makes a geometric picture with any other planet — until it enters the next sign. Since the moon symbolizes emotional attachment, the void-of-course creates a nebulous period for decisions. People make most decisions through emotions. When the moon is VOC, people do not care as much about the outcome. This can work in your favor or not, depending on the results you want. For Moon VOC (void of course) Defined
