lionsForecast 2/3

This is a juiced-up, inspired and jazzed Leo Full Moon. Plan an evening of romance, glamour, comedy, theater, childlike play or time with a delicious film that conjures all of the above.

Thorny feelings in the early morning may give way to exhilarating expectations. It’s all about relationship; finding common ground is preferable to finding fault or disappointment. By mid-afternoon a spark of inspiration my change prior plans, ideally for the better. Don’t be afraid to take the bull by the horns, it’s preferable to getting skewered.

The Leo Full Moon occurs at 6:09 p.m. ET. When the Leo Moon is lit by the Aquarius Sun, we have an opportunity to integrate our big wishes for community with creative self-expression. A symbol for this is presenting the Divine Child to the wider audience: an individual’s gifts to the greater whole. When the individual feels appreciated and acknowledged by the larger circle, the benefits of giving and receiving expand for all.

The exact degree of this Leo Full Moon puts it right at a point that often reflects in world events. Considering how favorable this Full Moon picture is, it can certainly be used to strengthen diplomatic ties and foster wealth and cultural exchanges. However, often the ways that attention is received in our world is through dramatic events that are more tragic than celebratory. It is imperative to emphasize the positive on this day and especially the promise of birth and a child’s potential.

parade-participantThe Sabian Symbol** for this Leo Moon is “A Pageant, With Its Spectacular Floats, Moves Along A Street Crowded With Cheering People”. Although this is a festive image, a simpler one with the same sentiment is a small child who gathers the family around as they marvel at her sturdy steps and exploration. A parade without spectators would be surreal; a child without attention does not thrive. The exuberance for the parade participant expands when encouraged by a cheerful audience. This is a fabulous image; what purpose stimulates you to march in celebration?

love_birdsThe Sabian Symbol** for this Aquarius Sun is “Two Lovebirds Sitting On A Fence And Singing Happily”. This gets to the heart of the creative act or the urge to do; to whom are you communicating? The artist, writer, musician, actor or child all have the urge to create in order to communicate. Even the most anti-social artist creates because of the need to self-express, if only for his/her own reflection.

Yet when the communication is received, it strengthens bonds within the Universal Unconscious. So make music, hold hands, write a letter, post a picture, sing in the shower, pick up your guitar or accordion, paint a wall, paint a mural, frost a cake, compose an opera, make snow angels or play with improv. Celebrate Life!

** We are still in the process of understanding the Sabian symbols, which were channeled in 1925. The spiritualist astrologer Marc Edmund Jones, took Elsie Wheeler, a clairvoyant confined to a wheelchair to a San Diego park with a project. He put a symbol for each of the 360° of the zodiacal wheel on 360 cards. She proceeded to come up with visual phrases for each one of them. They were done in random order and they have a magic that is hard to decipher, yet feels totally right.
