On 4/6 dialog may become polarized throughout the day until the Full Moon in Libra occurs on 3:18 pm ET.

This does not mean that negotiation or conversations are fruitless, but rather the ability to carve out the differences is heightened. Only through full expression of one another’s opinions will you be able to get to the heart of the issue, so go full steam.

Endeavors begun today have a strong ability to reach a satisfying result.

The Sabian symbols*
for this full moon are “An Empty Hammock Stretched Between Two Trees” for the Sun in Aries and “Two Men Placed Under Arrest” for the Libra moon.

These images both depict tension between opposites. A hammock cannot fulfill it’s purpose unless it is held by two supports. The two men in the second phrase are also being held in suspension. Neither phrase is complete.

The hammock invites a person to complete its function. The men are not free. The polarity of Aries/Libra is always about the quest for individual expression in direct contrast to the desire to effectively relate. Men under arrest do not have the luxury to relax into a hammock.

This Full Moon has a Grand Cross involving Venus and Mars (the planets linked to Aries and Libra). It also has Neptune and Chiron in the 7th house (of relationships) in the Washington DC chart, as well as the asteroid Juno (goddess of marriage) prominently in the 4th house (home, roots).

These symbols are very charged for further discussions about the changing face of marriage, not just for same sex but for the value it has or does not have for those who enter it. Since this is also Good Friday, the possibility of looking for love in the Christ message instead of as a football for more political fodder would be well served. Whatever beat stirs your heart, dance with it.

*The Sabian symbols have been enjoying a lot of attention in the astrology blogs lately, and I suspect Uranus’ pass in Pisces had a bit to do with it. We are still in the process of understanding the symbols, which were revealed the last time Uranus was in that sign.

In 1925, the spiritualist astrologer Marc Edmund Jones, took Elsie Wheeler, a clairvoyant confined to a wheelchair to a San Diego park with a project. He put a symbol for each of the 360° of the zodiacal wheel on 360 cards. She proceeded to come up with channeled visual phrases for each one of them. They were done in random order and they have a magic that is hard to decipher, yet feels totally right.
