Libra Full Moon / Lunar Eclipse: 3/23/2016

The March 23 2016 Libra Full Moon is a Lunar Eclipse. It’s degree is 3° Libra 17”and occurs at 8:01 AM ET.

A 90° configuration occurs between Jupiter and Saturn on this Lunar Eclipse. This is yet another indication of the extreme triggers present this month.

Tension between the longing for expansion (Jupiter) and concrete responsibilities (Saturn) may come to a head. The need to structure a plan to enable opportunity is before you, either in concept or as a mandate, depending on your personal horoscope.

This is a particularly charged Lunar Eclipse, since Saturn goes retrograde in less than 48 hours. It is highly likely that an ending happens around this eclipse. Full Moons are often emotional times, and the eclipse increases that.

The first is that Aries is the sign of the “I am” energy; it values self-direction. Yet a couple is depicted, which conjures an appreciation for the other. They take their time by strolling; Aries is fast.

The walk is secluded which lends a thoughtfulness and reflective quality to the energy. So the symbol itself reaches for a holistic integration of the Aries expression and the Libra’s lean towards relationship.
