Forecast 12/31
Yesterday’s void-of-course* Sagittarius moon opens New Year’s Eve.
A Mercury/Pluto picture in the early morning supports the benefits of journaling. You may also have a deep conversation with someone very close to you.
Later in the morning, a Mercury/Mars picture suggests that some of the morning’s conversation or musings are not without controversy. Enjoy a walk in nature, no matter how cold or brief. This clears the head and may help put things in perspective.
The moon enters Capricorn at 1:01 p.m. ET. The Capricorn Moon bodes well for an evening with just the right level of celebration. It is grounded in a deep spirituality and invites the realization of good wishes.
May your New Year’s Eve be safe and surrounded by concrete indications of a solid 2014.

Hmmm. How about Libra? I’m a Libra.
Jennifer_
“I’m a Libra” means that when you were born the Sun was in the sign of Libra. The Sun tells us how you want to shine in this lifetime. I don’t write 12 sign astrology typically because it fails to take into account what else was going on in the sky when you were born: what sign was the moon in? Venus? Mars? and the whole brilliant star map above. The whole solar system creates your horoscope, the 360° wheel. Your horoscope is not simply your Libra Sun, it is the starmap of all the planets and heavenly bodies in a frozen position at your birth.
In other words, when all you know about your horoscope is your Sun sign, it’s like pointing to your foyer and saying “this is my house”. All 12 signs are part of each one of our makeup. The difference is in the mix of what has prominence where. So my daily forecasts have relevance for everyone, but some people will feel it more strongly than others, depending on the day.
So when I do 12 sign forecasts (and I will post one for 2014 on 1/8/2014) it is with the disclaimer that this is just about one piece of your world… and when I make a reference to Libra, it also depends on when you were born in that 30 day cycle. That’s why “Sun sign” astrology has its limits.
Look at it this way- let’s say you’re a lawyer, or a plumber, or an accountant- there are certain general trends one can forecast for all those professions. Yet there are individual characteristics in every lawyer, plumber and accountant that will make that general forecast different. In astrology, that’s when we look deeper at who the person really is beyond the general: every person born in that 30 day cycle, regardless of the year.
So look for the Libra forecast to be posted 1/8/2014… and if you know your Rising Sign (ascendant) and Moon sign, look there too! Blessings for a beautiful 2014.
