When "Want" Pushes Ahead of "Desire": Astrology 6/16/2010

6/16/2010 Not quite as free-wheelin’ as yesterday, but still a day for child’s play.

What’s important here is to try to reconcile your will with your spirit’s desire, and the two are not always in sync. We earth creatures usually have agendas that directly conflict with what we feel is the right path. “Want” and “desire” are not quite the same verb. “Want” is a hunger that can be satisfied (temporarily) by a full stomach of anything. “Desire” indicates something specific in the filling.

If you feel a conflict, it may be heightened today. It is the Universe’s way of gently (or sometimes not so gently) nudging you to consider another way of doing something. If you can release the tension you may receive illumination.

But if no resolution comes, the feeling will pass. However, if it’s chronic, it will return. So if you can’t figure it out today you’ll get another opportunity. Don’t fret, enjoy the playfulness around you and get some R ‘n R.
