IMG_1483Forecast 4/25 The moon enters Scorpio at 6:25 a.m. ET – this can mean sudden clarity in an agenda.

Then again, you might want to burrow deeper under the sheets. Nonetheless, few people will be able to dodge the compelling energy that is stirred at this time.

This is a very powerful Full Moon, with the Lunar Eclipse. It also is the first of 3 eclipses this season; eclipses cluster – sometimes in pairs- but this trilogy is another emphasis of the potential revelations and volatility around us.

What an eclipse triggers has everything to do with where it falls in your horoscope. This can also be seen in the chart of a business, city or country. In general, an eclipse provides a flash of insight, revelation or a catalyst which can vary in intensity.

The eclipse occurs at 3:57 p.m. ET at 5° Scorpio 46”. Since this is the full moon that follows the Aries new moon that occurred on April 10, it is notable that the wave of Mars energy is prominent. Mars conjures the warrior; it signifies passion, the libido and anger. Like Aries, Scorpio is the other sign linked to Mars.

Aries connects with the pure spark of desire and thrust to fight for it. Scorpio, on the other hand, stokes passion with laser precision, pulling out any strategy necessary to achieve the goal. That’s why those with clarity of desire are winners this April.

The Sabian Symbol** for the Moon is: “A gold rush”. This supports the vision of a dream, especially when it is an overwhelming passion. Don’t hold back on your true desire at this time, or you shortchange potential. Look within to know where your wealth lies instead of going for someone else’s answer.

Charing Cross Bridge- Monet

The moon is lit by the Taurus Sun and its symbol is: “A bridge being built across a gorge”.  It is true that you may have to straddle two parts of your life to obtain your goal, or find compromise. Usually the biggest chasm is within you; if you can reconcile whatever differences hold you back inside, then you’re halfway to the other side.

This is a strong time to come to an understanding although you may not get everything you want. If you can come back to it later after the kinks are ironed out, you are well on your way to obtaining the goal.

What is essential is to look carefully at what may need to be used in a new way. You cannot discard every piece of what’s integral to the concept, but there are ways to build it that may require another spin. When two people hold fast to only one way of seeing, the bridge never gets crossed.

** We are still in the process of understanding the Sabian symbols, which were channeled in 1925. The spiritualist astrologer Marc Edmund Jones, took Elsie Wheeler, a clairvoyant confined to a wheelchair to a San Diego park with a project. He put a symbol for each of the 360∞ of the zodiacal wheel on 360 cards. She proceeded to come up with visual phrases for each one of them. They were done in random order and they have a magic that is hard to decipher, yet feels totally right.
