SEPTEMBER 2015 Forecast- all times ET:
September opens a season of eclipses; 2 this month, one a Solar Eclipse (New Moon), the other a Lunar Eclipse (Full Moon).
The eclipses have different energetic thrusts, depending on whether lunar or solar, yet all eclipses can trigger an event or revelation, especially if the degree of the eclipse hits a personal point in your horoscope.
Look on your natal horoscope to see where the eclipse lands; this gives you an idea of what may come up for you at this time. Eclipses can travel in cycles, repeating roughly every 18 years. If you recall the autumn of 1997, there may be an “echo” for you at this time. The volume of the echo is determined by how the call to action reverberates within.
The Virgo New Moon occurs at 20° 10” on September 13 at 2:41 a.m. ET. It is also a Solar Eclipse.
The Aries Full Moon is also a Lunar Eclipse at 4°40”. It occurs on September 27 at 10:51 p.m. ET.

Mercury goes Retrograde on September 17, 2015 and then direct on October 9. Some people are particularly sensitive to Mercury Retrograde, especially if they have strong placements of Gemini or Virgo in their birth horoscopes.
Some of you may notice the “shadow of the retrograde” has an effect. It begins on September 1, 2015. Although Mercury is technically direct the first couple of weeks in September, when it does retrograde, it will retrace its orbit to where it was at the beginning of the month.
Of course, the planet does not actually go backwards, but appears to from Earth’s perspective; this is “retrograde”.
Since Mercury goes Retrograde in Libra, an air sign, many will feel this period, regardless of birth sign. Air signs are the natural verbal communicators and thinkers, which dictate industries like computers, litigation, marketing and publishing.
When Mercury goes Retrograde in an air sign, it “ups the ante” on the inevitability of things going awry in verbal communication and industries tied to it. The lessons learned at this time can also put in place better systems. Libra is the sign connected to diplomacy, negotiation, mediation and intimate relationships (both romantic and professional). Venus finishes her Retrograde direction on September 6, 2015. The retrograde cycle ideally deepens your understanding of what you value.
Venus went retrograde in the sign of Virgo; she retraces her steps into Leo, heightening the sense of: “does my work fulfill my creative aspirations?” Or, “is a significant relationship a routine and not a sustainable romance?” For a wider spin on Venus Retrograde…
Jupiter entered Virgo on August 11 2015 end continues in Virgo through early September 2016. For the complete forecast for this cycle, including how it may affect you…
Saturn finishes its stint in Scorpio on September 18, 2015. For those of you born with planets in late degree of Leo, Taurus, Scorpio or Aquarius, you may experience one last reminder in a lesson to be learned before that date.
One of Saturn‘s lessons is to recognize fears you may have, and in the sign of Scorpio, this is directly related to death and any legal documents concerning it, mergers and acquisitions, sexual intimacy, the birth process and taxes. If you’re scratching your head and wondering what these things have in common, give a listen to Anna Sale’s Death, Sex and Money podcasts on NPR. After September 18 Saturn continues through the sign of Sagittarius. More about this is coming!
Pluto remains retrograde, which can indicate a return to deep inner work. When retrograde, Pluto calls into question what you do or do not need. It’s an excellent time to evaluate unconscious habits that get you into situations or routines that you’d like to change. Pluto retrograde offers an opportunity to take greater control of your life through recognition of defensive behavior and unproductive patterns. A call or memory from the past may trigger a theme for the next several months.
