When the moon is in Taurus, you may be keenly aware of what your body needs to feel supported; how much rest, kind of foods or what type of clothes attract you.

Although it is not advisable to launch immediately into whatever project or vision dangles before you, many signals may compel you to do so.

The Sabian Symbol** for this New Moon is “A squaw selling beads”. This is a difficult image. The word “squaw” has controversial connotations; historians and linguists argue about its origin. Nonetheless, it is generally seen by feminists to be a dismissive term for a woman.
Regardless of your gender, this Sabian Symbol** therefore emphasizes any discomfort you may experience in your own skin. This feeling may be somewhat acute at this New Moon. Do you have everything you require in the material world?

Beads for indigenous people were objects to exchange. In some tribes creating them was a sacred act. The reciprocal exchange of the beads could have symbolic or diplomatic meaning.
