valentine_antiqueForecast 2/14

Whether or not you have a partner, plan your sweetheart strategy early in the morning. Valentines Day may start off on the wrong foot if you don’t sidestep an argument or a grouchy mood.

This can be a pouty morning if someone feels left out or not considered; regardless of your romantic situation, this holiday lends itself to bruised egos. There is no need to stay in a “blue funk” if this has reared its head; move that energy in a productive way.

After mid-morning, any unsettled moods may pass. The Moon is void-of-course/voc* moon occurs at 10:15 a.m. ET.

If you’ve been proactive and planned an armchair excursion or outdoor adventure beforehand, the afternoon flies.

At 5:24 p.m. ET, the Moon enters Capricorn. Although people may think of Capricorn as a practical sign, it actually can create a nice mood for Valentines’ Day, by encouraging a substantive expression of Love. Handmade cards, formal declarations of affection (like flowers, dinner or jewelry) have even more mileage.

If there’s someone you want to recognize, be sure to make the gesture. If there is no one in your life at present, give yourself a special treat: a new garment, a flower or a massage.

The gift does not have to be expensive, but it does need to be thoughtful.

*Moon VOC/Void-of-Course… in Sagittarius, the scope of far-flung projects deserve attention, but direction is not apparent. Consider with vigor, but make no commitments. You may also want to physically explore a location but don’t expect to find anything concrete… keep your eye on the gas tank if you go for a long ramble.
